A Right Royal Occasion ~ Class 2

On Friday 18th May the children in Class 2 had a royal themed day to celebrate the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel.

Everyone came in their wedding clothes and we saw some fantastic outfits.

At lunchtime we had a special wedding picnic.

There was a selection of sandwiches,

crisps, cheese straws and carrot and cucumber sticks.

This was followed by a delicious chocolate brownie,

and of course a glass of apple fizz to toast the happy couple.

In the afternoon we had fun trying on some royal masks, see if you can recognise anyone!

We hope you have enjoyed looking at our photographs and we wish Harry and Meghan a long and happy marriage.

Charity Sweet Tombola

On Friday 4th May we held a sweet tombola to raise money for St George's Crypt.
All the sweets came wrapped and labelled up ready for us, they were prepared by volunteers at the Crypt.

There were plenty of prizes....

which was a good thing because it proved to be very popular.

the teachers were very keen to win sweets,

but there were plenty left for the kids!

There was a big queue and the children in Class 4 did a great job running the stall.

There was a prize for every ticket so everyone was happy.

We raised over £250.00 to support the homeless in Leeds.
Thank you to everyone who supported the tombola.
Your generosity will make a huge difference to the lives of others.
