Class 2 Bug Hotel
As part of our 'mini beasts and habitats' science topic class 2 set out to build a bug hotel in our school garden.
First we had to assess the area looking around for what mini beasts are already living in our garden and have a look for the perfect spot to house our bug hotel.
Next we did our research and found out what kind of habitats the mini beasts we found are most suited to and why.
Here's some of what we found out.
Next we planned how we would like our hotel to look.
Finally we got to build our structure!
