On Friday this week we held a special harvest event in aid of McMillian. Everyone was asked to take part in a "bake off" style competition to raise money for this important charity. In true Harewood spirit everyone put in a tremendous amount of effort and the result was an amazing display of cakes, cupcakes and breads.
The judging was a tough job, especially the tasting bit, but somebody had to do it!
All the children and their families were invited to a special assembly of celebration with some celebrity guest judges. Can you recognise them?
With all the winners announced it was time for our class performances of their harvest thanksgiving songs.
Finally it was time to eat cake!
We raised over £350 for McMillian Cancer Research which is huge achievement for our small school. Thank you to everyone who baked and helped to make our harvest celebrations a huge success.
