The Imaginary World Doors are all finished now, after the addition of some magical sparkles. They will be varnished over half-term so they're ready to take their place in our special Imaginary world garden after the holidays.
The main maths focus this week has been on shapes within shapes but there was still lots of number work and calculating to be done.
In phonics we have been thinking of and writing sentences. I was also very pleased with results of the children's phonics assessments. Some great writing (and maths) also came from the new improved role play Farm Shop. I was so popular we had to employ security guards and a waiting list each time it was opened by a new pair of shopkeepers.
