Phew! Christmas is finally here - and what a hectic final day of term we had. Santa found a window in his busy schedule to call in and give out gifts to everyone that has been good this year.
Santa was heard to say that he was very impressed with how the children had behaved - so looks like we might be in for a bumper year!
The children also put the finishing touches to their Christmas gifts and cards. We all agreed they looked very professional - especially the Christmas cakes in Class 2 which would make Betty's jealous!
The day started with our Nativity performance. The choir were in fine voice. The soloists were particularly impressive - it is not an easy thing to stand up in front of such a large audience and sing. Well done everyone!
The Reception children were brilliant in their Nativity roles. They all enjoyed taking part in re-telling the Christmas story.
Merry Christmas everyone! Have a fantastic holiday and we'll see you in 2013!

why are there no pics of the year 6 readers. without ous you wouldn't understand the play.
ReplyDeleteYou make a good point, Abbas. I think it is partly because the readers were not all in one place at one time to be photographed together, but also that our lovely Class 1 children in their costumes might make a better photograph. However, as I said at the time, I was extremely proud of all our Year 6 readers and their contribution to the Carol Service.
