High Adventure Day 4 - Bouldering, Team Building, Raft Building (and paddle boarding) and Circus Skills!

As you can see it has been another highly varied and exciting day here at High Adventure! The children have already worked brilliantly as a team this week but the morning session of team building will have cemented this further I'm sure - indeed the raft building activity showed the group listening to each others ideas and knot tying tips! Ok, so the raft barely made it a metre into the water before completely falling apart but that's all part of the fun, just like playing heads, shoulders, knees and JUMP on a giant inflatable paddle board. The weather was pretty grim at points today I have to admit but it didn't stop the children from wanting to lob themselves into the very cold water (if you look carefully you may spot a teacher attempting to walk on water!) and then going on to spend the evening wearing bandanas in amusing ways and learning to do a whole host of circus skills - look that's actually three plates spinning at once!!

What an absolutely brilliant day, rounded off once more with a bedtime story and hot chocolate. The children have all got to bed again sensibly tonight and only one challenge remains - high ropes! Watch this space for more on that tomorrow!
