Last day of term...Goodbye Harewood!

It's the last day of term!! It's also the last day at Harewood for year 6's, Mrs Brotherton, and myself. I just thought i would write a quick blog to say thank you. I have been at Harewood now for just over 12 months, starting on 11th May 2009 as a student on a 6 week placement - only 6 weeks turned into a whole year. Since September i have worked in class 3 with Miss King, and can honestly say i have had an absolutely brilliant time. It has been a pleasure to come to work everyday. During my year, i have also worked with other classes, particularly class 4, starting with High Adventure back in September. Although i have been on alot of adventure weeks before with other organisations, i had never had as much fun as we all did that week. The children were great fun, and so was Mrs Brotherton! We still share memories of that week every time we meet. Following on from High Adventure, we have been on lots and lots of sporting activities, football, rugby, swimming, more rugby, more football etc etc. It was an absolute pleasure to accompany the children on these visits. They are very proud of our school, and represent it so well.

Its been a packed year with so much success for Harewood, and i would just like to thank Mr Madeley for letting me stay! Miss King and Class 3 for putting up with me! I really have had a brilliant year with you!! All the staff....not forgetting those wonderful dinnerladies :) but most importantly to the children - Thank you for been such a pleasure to work with.
I wish everyone all the very best in the future.
