Thanksgiving Service

Can it be that we are at the end of the school year already? As always we took the time to give thanks for all the talented children we have at Harewood and to reflect on the learning experiences we have had this year.

Luckily the sun was shining on our picnic this year. We all had a lovely time soaking up the sun in front of Harewood House.
After lunch we made our way to the church for our Thanksgiving Service. There were performances from the choir, guitarists and recorder players.

Each class had prepared a short piece for the audience of parents and friends of Harewood. Class 2 signed a rainbow.

The church was full and the singing was fantastic.

Class 4 had re-written the lyrics to a song they had been subjected to during Mr.Madeleys mini-bus adventures. Bob Geldof would have been proud of the changes they had made!

The service ended and the children wound their way back to school singing to Mr.Sturgess on the guitar.
