Yer money or yer life!

You may have got away with your life - but we were definitely after your wallet! As part of Class 3's enterprise unit the children had designed ways to raise funds linked to our school production of 'Treasure Island'.
The class decided on pirate themed snacks. Bags of pirate loot were on sale for 60p each or 2 for £1.00. Each bag also contained a pirate joke of dubious quality!

The class were also trained in the art of programme selling. Why have just one lucky programme if you can have two?
This detailed treasure map was created by two pupils in the class. For 20p a square you could try and track down the treasure.
Would you mess with this surly character?? Better to hand over your spare cash for a good cause.

In Numeracy the next day we counted up our loot. It was a great lesson in practical maths. After costs the class had raised an amazing £280.00. Thank you so much to everyone who came along and supported the production and gave so generously. The money will be used to buy sound equipment for the production next year.
