Last week we held a whole school celebration assembly to help raise money for the Children's Society Charity. Everyone in the school made a Christingle in their classroom during the week.
We found out what each part of the Christingle represents.
The children in R.E. club helped to put together the Christingle collection boxes.
On Friday afternoon we held a whole school celebration assembly which was led by the children in R.E. club.
The children explained about the important work of the Children's society and we had an opportunity to reflect upon our own preparations for Christmas and those of others less fortunate than ourselves.
The children in Class 1 lit their Christingle candles in the classroom before they took them home.
We hope you all enjoyed our Christingle Assembly and thank you to everyone for your support.
