Pumpkin Faces
Class One were challenged to create pumpkin faces before we carved a real pumpkin face together. I asked, What if you could only use three and four sided shapes to make a pumpkin face?
The children then got busy using the cut out shapes. They discussed the properties of the triangles, squares and rectangles as they worked and they took their own photos of their finished faces - Fabulous!
