Making ten in different ways.
Looking at the memories books has made us think again about previous learning in lots of ways. This week it also linked with our maths when we made treasure maps for each other.
The memories books from when we started school inspired us to have a go at old favourite games again. We're much better at them now!
We said goodbye to the chicks and had a last cuddle before they went to the farm.
We had a pirate ship adventure, found a mysterious box and hatched a dragon egg! Not bad going in one week really, the chicks took 21 days!
Thinking of a name for Baby Dragon.
On Friday we shared the fabulous book, Tell me a Dragon by Jackie Morris. This inspired lots of great descriptive vocabulary and dragon ideas - I wonder what your dragon would be like?
Child initiated and independent writing inspired by the book.
Story telling and making up our own funny versions of the Pirate Pete book.
