Class One's Chick Blog - Part One

Just over three weeks ago Class One put their hen and duck eggs in the incubator. After lots of careful counting down, preparation and eager anticipation we were thrilled at the arrival of two beautiful little chicks last Thursday. During the incubation period we checked the temperature and humidity of the incubator daily as well as giving careful consideration as to how we would care for the chicks when they arrived.

We wanted to make a blog to let everyone know what is happening with our chicks, how we care for them and how we feel about them. Some of the children have taken or chosen photographs for this blog and written their own captions. We intend to do another bog next week to report on progress including, hopefully, news about our ducklings as well.
