A Very Mist-erious day out!

Blog entry written by Monet Page.

On Wednesday the 9th of June, Year 4 went to Ilkley Moor as part of their Yorkshire Adventures. It was very misty, so we learnt all about safety outdoors. We also learnt about the Cow and Calf, which are two rocks, one big and one small.

We learnt all about the environment and did a lot of climbing - we got very muddy! Mr. Madeley explained all about the nature that we saw.

We stopped for lunch just by the lake and saw all the ducks. After that we did some more climbing and reached the maze. Some of the rocks were slippy. Afterwards we went to see a roman wall.

Finally we got back into the minibus and drove back to school. It was a long journey back but we all got back muddy, cold but safe! We really enjoyed Ilkley Moor and I hope I can go soon because it was a spectacular day out.
