On Thursday the 10th of June, Year 3 went to Otley Chevin. We drove in a mini-but that Mr.Madeley had rented. When we finally arrived we saw a big forest.
We started walking for ages, thinking it was just a forest - we were amazed when we saw two giant rocks. Mr. Madeley let us climb it, it went really high. When we finished Mr. Madeley found a little gap, we all squeezed through, except Mrs. Gregson and Mrs. Reynolds - they didn't think they'd fit!!
Hurriedly, we ran to our rucksacks and made our way to the lunch space. Mr. Madeley told us not to litter. Hungrily, we ate our lunch. After many hours of exercise we returned to school - filthy and with leaves in our hair. What a fun adventure it was!

I enjoyed then den building in the afternoon, as well as the rock scrambling. We had a great day, despite the weather.
