Eggsfile Update from Class One

Look at how much our chicks have grown in just a week.
We made careful observations of them and had a final cuddle before they went to their lovely new homes on Wednesday. We were very careful.
Some of the children did more writing fabout the chicks for the blog.
Oliver -They have got wings.
Connie - The chicks are going to their new homes.
Zara was particularly excited when she wrote: The 2 brown chicks will live with me in 6 weeks.
We were very happy to welcome two beautiful ducklings on Wednesday.
When they were dry we put them in the cage under the electric hen (or electric duck!).
They are great friends and always snuggle together.
We have been able to compare the things that are the same about the chicks and ducklings and the things that are different.
Connie - The ducks have softer beaks than the chicks. They're not as pointy.
Gabriel - After they have splashed in the water the ducklings shake their feathers.
They love to play in the water.
Hugo wrote the list of names his friends had chosen so we could vote on the most popular ones. Fluffy and Pecky were the two names we chose for our ducklings.
