Twit-who???

Class 2 have been studying all things owl related this half-term. As part of their project they arranged for a visit from the York Bird of Prey Centre. The visitors were kind enough to share their knowledge with the rest of the school. Everyone got to meet and hold the owls.

The magnificent creatures were surprisingly light! Despite being very excited to see the owls so closely, the children kept very quiet so that the birds stayed calm.

Thank you so much to the staff from the centre for created such a memorable experience!

Who would have thought that we would have had a bird of prey take flight in our hall - perhaps it really is bigger than we thought?
